Hands Free Car Kit Fitting - Booking Procedure

Ordering

When placing your order for Hands Free Car Kit fitting, we will need to take your contact details, the installation address, vehicle details (including stereo details), we then agree an installation date and a time slot for you. Once the installation date is agreed we then take credit card or debit card details to confirm the booking. Payment is not taken the day you place your order.

Equipment

If we are supplying the equipment for your Hands Free Car Kit fitting, we may need to send it directly to you prior to the installation. Once the equipment is shipped, your credit/debit card will be charged for your booking.

Payment

We can accept payment for your hands free car kit fitting by Maestro, Switch, Solo, Visa or MasterCard. Payment by cheque is accepted but we will be unable to book the installation until the cheque has cleared. Company accounts are available at our discretion and usually require the first order to be paid by credit or debit card.

Where?

We have fully qualified and insured installation engineers based all over the UK. Your installation can take place at either your home or workplace providing there is adequate parking available.

When?

Once you have placed your order, we aim to book your installation within 3-5 working days.

What Time?

When advising you of your installation date we will give you a 2 hour time window in which the installer will arrive. We usually allow between 1 to 2 hours for each installation. Our installers take extreme care and attention when working on your vehicle. None of our installations are rushed and the appropriate time will be spent on each individual vehicle.

Installation

Before starting work on your vehicle, our installer will confirm the placement of the equipment with you. If you have any special requirements, please inform the installer beforehand. Once the installation is complete, our installer will test the equipment and demonstrate to you how it works. We recommend that you are present with your mobile phone for a full test and demonstration.

Stereo Integration

We offer a free stereo muting service on all our installations. This will automatically mute the stereo when a call is made or received. Most car kits are supplied with their own speaker; however, if you require the audio from the car kit to be routed through you cars stereo speakers then you will require a Tele-mute Audio Loom.
Please Note: due to manufacturer limitations, stereo integration and stereo muting is not available on all vehicles and cannot be guaranteed.

Steering Wheel Button Integration

We can now integrate your hands free car kit with over 31 different manufacturers steering wheel controls. Currently we can only offer this to the Parrot range of hands free car kits. Please Note: due to manufacturer limitations, button integration is not available on all vehicles and cannot be guaranteed.

Warranty

We supply a 12 month warranty with all of our car kit installations. This covers call out fee, parts and labour as long as the problem is with the car kit, or installation.
